The cycling region around Graz in Austria is ideal if you love fresh air, altitude and the outdoor lifestyle. You have plenty to enjoy here; picturesque landscapes, historical and cultural monuments, fantastic views, secluded bathing lakes and traditional specialities in inns and wine taverns. The popular Mur Cycle Path R2 is the main cycling artery here. It stretches from the mountains in the north to the Graz basin plains in the south.

The area around the Mur River has many highlights to discover too. In this Collection, we’ve put together the 13 most beautiful Tours around the Styrian capital. The route is flat and relaxed: you cycle through idyllic valleys, shaded forests, gently rolling fields and the hills east of Graz. If you enjoy a challenge, you can take on some climbing in the Grazer Bergland to the north which has incredible panoramas.

Wake up and have a fun day – that’s what a holiday in the Graz adventure region is like. With plenty of exercise on your two wheels and lots of options, you’ll find adventure, excitement and fun here. Whether you like to challenge yourself or take it easy, cyclists and e-bikers are well at home in Graz – a region that warms the heart.
