Because of the wind warning level 2, I did not climb any peaks such as the Kamor today. On my route, the wind was sometimes clearly noticeable and audible, but not problematic.

The last Alpstein hike before the popular snowfall.

Weather very cloudy, sun unfortunately only diffuse, freshening west wind. There were still some people on the way to take the last chance.

Paths were in great condition and very dry - but in a few hours they should be more white .....

After the end of the season you can even go back to Alpstein 😍 on Sunday, but on my tour there were still as many people as I've never seen there ... after all, it was my 10th tour there.

Actually, my two sons and I wanted to go up to the Säntis via Mesmer and Wagenlücke. The weather report was too uncertain, so it was discarded.

As a replacement, one of my sons and I went on a smaller and less risky tour to the Fähnerenspitz, where I have been around 12 times 🥰

Ascent in the rough Hüttentobel today on very wet paths with lots of running water (after the thunderstorm yesterday evening).
