In the Black Forest, you can expect panoramic plateaus, forested peaks, romantic valleys, rushing rivers, picturesque lakes and pretty little towns. Plus, Germany's largest low mountain range offers well-developed cycle paths and routes. Whether you like crisp climbs or leisurely descents through wide river valleys, you'll get your money's worth here.

In this Collection, we present the five most beautiful long-distance cycle routes in and around Germany’s Black Forest. On the Nature Park Cycle Route and the Southern Black Forest Cycle Route, you’ll get to know the region’s two nature parks. On the Heidelberg-Black Forest-Lake Constance Cycle Route and the Black Forest Panorama Cycle Route, you’ll travel from north to south through Baden-Württemberg and discover scenic heights and enchanting valleys. The fifth cycle route is a section of the Rhine Cycle Route, also known as EuroVelo 15. From Lake Constance, you cycle along the edge of the Black Forest through the Rhine plain to Mannheim.

You can divide the stages of the long-distance cycle routes individually, depending on your fitness level. There are plenty of places to stay and eat, such as restaurants and cafés, along the way. Many of the routes are also suitable for e-bikes due to a good network of charging stations. You can discover the diversity of the Black Forest and its surroundings with ease on these wonderfully varied Tours.

More and more people want to explore and experience the impressive nature in the Black Forest — whether by hiking, by cycling or on a mountain bike. But we as humans are only guests here in the Black Forest — and the animals and plants are our hosts. That's why #RespectForNature is mandatory for all nature lovers, because only with respect we'll preserve the Black Forest in its beauty for our descendants.

You can find out more about the #respectfornature initiative on our profile page komoot.com/user/schwarzwaldtourismus or at respekt-schwarzwald.info.
