Long cycle paths wind through blossoming orchards, leading you to culinary delights and along Lake Constance’s beautiful shore, the water glistening in the sun. So that you can get to know all the highlights of eastern Switzerland around St. Gallen, Rorschach, Arbon and Romanshorn, we’ve planned six Tours and created the Lake Constance Bike Rally. From the saddle, you can collect stickers, solve a quiz and even win a prize at the end.
The Rhine Valley, Appenzellerland and Thurgau: the landscapes to the south of Lake Constance are green and hide all kinds of charming picnic spots, exciting museums, culinary specialities and views to make your heart soar.
With lengths between 20 to 47 kilometres (12–29 mi), our six Bike Rally Tours run on relaxed cycle paths with gentle to moderate gradients through eastern Switzerland making them easily doable by bike for families with children. The focus is on visiting great adventure spots in nature as well as enjoying delicious refreshments and the magnificent view of Lake Constance from the saddle.
So, how do you go about it? If you play the analogue version, you cycle off with the Bike Rally bell and collect the stickers from our 14 partner businesses. In the online version, you hunt for points with a web app and answer quiz questions. Once you’ve mastered all six Tours and completed all the posts, you can take part in our competition. There are prizes up for grabs to suit every taste, from boat tickets and museum admission to an open-air experience with a view of the stars.
