It’s finally summer again; what could be better than enjoying long days in nature? We can’t think of much. In this Collection, we’ll take you on six of the most beautiful hikes in the greater Nuremberg area that are ideal for long summer days. Hike through the scenic Franconian Switzerland or catch the Burgenwinkel-Express to the Haßberge mountains. At the end of the day, enjoy a warm summer evening in an idyllic vineyard on Bullenheimer Berg and explore the varied nature around Nuremberg. All start and endpoints are only a short drive from Nuremberg's main train station.

Franconia is a hospitable region with peaceful nature. As you hike, you discover weathered castle ruins, impressive caves, magnificent views and cool forests – all the things that make for a wonderfully varied hike. It’s easy to explore the region in depth thanks to its good public transport network.
