The market square in Kirchberg has been the heart of the city since the late Middle Ages. Ice cream and coffee can be enjoyed here in the flair of the historic half-timbered houses from the 17th and 18th centuries.

At 816 meters, the Erbeskopf on the border of the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park is not only the highest mountain in the Hunsrück, but also the highest mountain in Rhineland-Palatinate. The highlight at the summit is the walk-in wind sound sculpture, from which you can view the landscape from different perspectives and watch the hustle and bustle on the summer toboggan run or in the Erbeskopf Trail Park.
