The Hirtsteinmarsch, after 1400 men now take part in the annual Fichtelbergmarsch event, we wanted to venture a new tour from the Nischel to the ridge. Planning at Komoot is really easy, the only problem is the overnight stay on the Hirtstein or in the statutes. From the shack to the hereditary court

It should still be the Hirtstein today. After a hearty breakfast, we went to the summit this morning in a frosty -6 ° and sunshine. In front of the summit, however, is the Pressnitz valley, the way to Schmalzgrube in the morning dew and sunshine is an experience. The ascent from Schmalzgrube, over Schulberg

We had quite unconsciously selected a special date for our Ore Mountains summit tour this year. 10/09/2021. 50th birthday of our Nischel`s. So the tour should start with a hearty serenade to our jubilee boy. Nothing easier than that, luckily there are people from Marxstadt. We didn't attract much attention

Day 2 started with an opulent breakfast. Patricia welcomed us with regional delicacies, her own sausage, fresh honey and steaming coffee and of course with her good mood. To say goodbye there was a picture in the warming morning sun. The atmosphere was great and we made our way to Schwartenberg, the

The next thousand of the Erzgebirge was on the program today. The plan was actually to hike from the Nischel directly to the Auersberg. That's exactly 63.5 km, without any major detours. Only my fitness due to a previous illness made me doubt the implementation of the project. So, thanks to komoot, we

On Sundays there is only one bus from the Hammerschänke to Eibenstock. with three changes you are back in Chemnitz in the afternoon. So we decided on a tour to the Erzgebirge railway to get to Aue and Chemnitz. On the ridge tour, the path led to Sauschwemme and Steinbach. Really all inns and guesthouses

Day 2, overnight everything was white again and winter was back. At a crisp -1°C we went on the tour. First to Lößnitz train station to pick up Tino from the city train. The railway line around Lößnitz is like a model railway. The train leaves the Muldetal in two large curves to reach the Zwönitztal
