No less than the world-famous fairy-tale castle of Neuschwanstein gives its name to the Schlosspark in Allgäu: majestic peaks, gentle pre-Alpine valleys and turquoise lakes spread out before you. The area is a varied hiker's paradise that looks like a large park, dotted with castles and castle ruins. No wonder King Ludwig II settled here.

In this Collection, you’ll find eight different day Tours that take you to the most beautiful spots in the Ostallgäu. Stories, summits and enjoyment – each hike is dedicated to a different theme and makes each route an experience. You can hike from hut to hut and sample your way through Bavarian delicacies, climb to vantage points high above the lake district or visit impressive royal castles. There's all kinds of things to discover in the castle grounds.

All Tours are circular and between 4 and 20 kilometres (2.5 and 12.4 mi) long. You can reach the starting points either by car or, in some cases, by public transport. You will find more information in the individual stage descriptions. Immerse yourself in the legendary landscape of the castle park and write your own stories.
