The Dorset 330 was a route curated by Harry Griffiths during lockdown, originally to take on as an ITT but also a wonderful multiday bikepacking adventure route that takes in a whole host of terrain across Dorset. 330km with 4500m of climbing, it's a route that can be completed on a gravel bike but make sure you're running the widest tires you can. We decided to try and tackle it in two days, in the middle of winter, which was a little ambitious but fun nonetheless.
Dorset 330 Day 1
Headed out from Swanage, so not the official start but was mega, old Harry’s Rock before 7am was bliss and the first 120km were so smooth, it got pretty rough after that. Lot more mud and random fields. Amazing pub called the Fox Inn in Carscombe that are happy to let you pitch up in their garden, recommended.
