Perthshire as a destination doesn't have massive mountains, more rolling hills, but it's easy to get there and there's a huge variety in the types of trails on offer. My three favourite riding locations in Perthshire showcase the region's diversity.
Dunkeld is famous for its natural, steep and hand cut trails across the village's four hills that are rooty and rocky.
Comrie Croft is a natural trail centre offering a blue, red and black plus a skills park. As a bonus the trail centre is rideable year round, and you can enjoy some really great food in the cafe which sources locally produced ingredients with vegetables grown on site too!
Aberfeldy is a developing bike park that offers a mix of riding. All the trails are lovingly hand-built and cared for by the local riding community, and it's constantly getting better and better.
All the revenue generated from viewership across the YouTube series will be split between planting more trees in Scotland and the local trail associations. If you want to ride any of these trails for yourself then be sure to check out the Tours below.
Aberfeldy is such a sick location for riding. They've started a bike park there and the trails are amazing: fast, flowing, there's berms and jumps. You can stop by Glen Lyon Coffee Roasters which has a coffee shop that opens on a Friday only so I tend to ride there on Fridays only!
From the top, you can…
Comrie Croft is this unique location that's got a really strong focus on sustainability; they're sourcing local produce, growing vegetables on site, is really family focussed and on top of all that they've got an amazing trail network, with blue, red and black trails as well as a skills park. The best…

Dunkeld is a special place for me, as it's where my love for mountain biking started. I've got so many memories of riding here, and it's where I did my first SDA race on a hardtail, and looking back that was pretty wild!
Over the last few years with the increase in popularity of riding natural, hand-cut…
