In this Collection, I present the most beautiful alpine gravel trails in Haute Maurienne to ride in autumn. These Tours provide the perfect opportunity to enjoy the gravel before winter snow arrives.

What’s so amazing about France’s Haute Maurienne in autumn? Here, it’s easy to enjoy the flamboyantly coloured landscapes in complete serenity. The trails are deserted and the snow is still far away. The sub-zero temperatures in the morning often give way to beautiful sunny days on the southern slopes, making for epic riding conditions.

When you ride here, always take waterproofs and a pair of gloves. These routes are in the mountains and the weather can change quickly. These Tours are relatively smooth so tires between 36 and 45 millimetres wide will be fine.
