With 315 sunny days a year, Naturno in Italy is the ideal place for an active hiking holiday with your whole family. You can climb to breathtaking peaks from the wide valley floor of the Adige Valley to green meadows on the Nörderberg and the barren slopes of the Sonnenberg. Since Naturno is the only certified alpine wellness resort in South Tyrol, your body and soul can find balance here.

Around the village, the beautiful landscapes unfold on both sides of the valley. This hiking area is rich in culture and history and you can visit the church of St. Proculus. Steep vineyards, wide apple orchards and traditional mountain farms characterise the landscape just as much as the high peaks that tower up to 3,000 metres (9,842 ft). Just a few kilometres from the town of Merano, the climate is mild. Even palm trees and cypresses grow here, giving you a feeling of dolce vita. This is where alpine landscapes meet the Mediterranean.

To ensure that you experience every beautiful view in and around Naturno and to guide you through the surrounding area, we’ve created this Collection of seven wonderful hiking Tours. The day hikes start either directly in Naturno or very close to the village. You don’t have to worry about food as you walk, as countless huts, taverns and snack stations will spoil you with smoky bacon, steaming dumplings and fragrant strudel. Enjoy the perfect mix of alpine and Mediterranean in Naturno! You can get an insight into the beauty of the region in this video:
