Morocco is considered the Holy Grail among gravel bikers. Thousands of kilometers of off-road tracks await you there, ranging from narrow to wide and offering a veritable collection of gravel fun under your wheels. With the Gravel Union Doorstep Challenge you now have the chance to also enjoy this experience. Fun factor guaranteed! Participate and win 2 tickets for a trip to Morocco, which we raffle off for spring 2022 together with our friends from Thomson Bike Tours!

Just grab your gravel bike and get outside! Use it to do exactly what it was built for. Explore the area, hit some trails, make the gravel splash! Have fun! Everything else you need to know to enter the competition as well as what the actual challenge is, you can find out on our website: gravelunion.cc/changing-seasons-doorstep-gravel-challenge.

In this Collection we want to show you a sample tour of what your ride for the Changing Seasons Doorstep Challenge could look like.

So, get on your saddle: Follow our profile, take a look at the conditions of participation, ride your tour and mark us as a participant after completion. Enter #changingseasonschallenge in the title and your tour will be entered into the competition. With a little luck, you'll be off to Morocco next spring!

As a bonus for all participants: We will publish the best routes in this collection, so that all other users can experience your gravel adventures or even ride them on their own.

A fun gravel ride without even leaving the city? No problem in Leipzig. Just planned the route after work, got on my bike and headed into the floodplain forest. Convenient when it’s only five minutes away.

First I headed south; no tour of the floodplain forest is complete without a loop around lake Cossi. On the way to the lake …

@srasch They are Revolights. Super cool lights that I got years ago before the company went bust and now I can't get new batteries but am too lazy to uninstall them!

Once again a beautiful gravel route with everything that makes the heart beat faster - in the truest sense of the word ... 😉
This time the way was the goal and therefore two challenging “diversions” were necessary, which were rewarded with great views each time. In addition, a beautiful single trail with just as many beautiful views of the …

Super nice autumn tour in Hamburg's north-west, high proportion of asphalt, but almost all of the side streets with hardly any traffic. Technically super easy. Good for beginners! My highlights of the tour:
    - countless nurseries
    - View of the runway at Hamburg Airport
    - Morning view of the Outer Alster
    - drive through the Altonaer Volkspark
    - Tarpenbek Uferradweg (while there are only not other road users, especially dogs)

Dropping off wheel caps in Lier and went down to Fort Knox. Route with as many unknown paths as possible, explored 61 new kilometers! No tea stops, mechanical mishaps or endless downhills but could check off the rest of the brevet card 🤘
➡️ Fallen leaves: many, some were still falling
➡️ Muddy puddles: a lot of gravel sludge

Great day out with five horsemen! Easily ticked off the brevet card. Tea stop at Waskerley Cafe, several endless downhills (as well as one uphill one 😂), perfect gravel throughout with Derwent & Waskerley Way both included, some
route finding and ploughing through mud when we took a wrong turn (how no-one came off is a miracle), stacks of fallen …

Yes, thank you, Karlovy Vary is always worth a trip. A beautiful city. Hopefully next time with more time for a little stroll through town 😁
