There were several highlights today, as would be the Waldnaabquelle, to reach over a small trail, the cross-country ski center Silberhütte, and the ruins Flossenbürg. Then we passed the center of "Central Europe".

From Weiding we first went down to Treffelstein with the castle ruins and to the Silbersee.

Ulrich needed a refreshment in the lake and I took care of my clothes.

A break was taken in Cham and the rain (river) accompanied us to Chamerau!

First along the rain through a beautiful river landscape.

Finally the Bavarian Forest was reached and the Arber came into view for the first time.

From Lochberghütte things got down to business, because the Brennes saddle had to be climbed, in between I made a small detour to the "Kleinen Arbersee"!

The "royal stage" was on the plan.

The longest stage with the most altitude meters led us through the Czech Sumava National Park!

A lot of forest awaited us, unfortunately also many small roads, but we stuck to the designated bike path through the national park.

Czech beer and sausages were also tried.

With the best cycling weather, we were lucky with the weather anyway, the last stage was tackled.

Again the route took us over many small streets.

The Adalbert-Stifter-Weg at the beginning was a wonderful bike path.

The last section to the Danube, a rapid descent, was also eventful.
