Soft light, a gentle climate, clear air – this is the Kitzbühel Alps in its golden autumn dress. Biking, hiking and enjoying the culinary delights are all part of the archetypal autumn here.

If you are looking for a vibrant outdoor playground, you’re in the right place. Autumn in the Brixental means a gentle start, enjoying nature in all its facets and getting active. The region's offerings are as abundant as the season itself and the comfortable climate motivates you to stay outdoors all day.

Over 1,000 kilometres (620 mi) of signposted MTB routes, striking mountain peaks, unforgettable panoramic views, gentle alpine pastures and trails exist wherever you look. The Kitzbühel Alps, centring around Brixental and Kitzbühel, are a true El Dorado for mountain bikers.

A mountain bike adventure here is also a culinary adventure, with the finest specialities from the forest and meadows on the menu. Regionality and sustainability are already a matter of course and the products that come from the region are of the highest quality. Visit a farm shop or a member of KochArt, visionary restaurateurs who use regional products wherever possible.

This Collection is just right for cyclists getting to know the region in the golden autumn. We've picked out a few fantastic Tours for you, some are easy going but some are quite challenging. Just choose what suits your riding style and your physical condition. Maybe you'd like to start with an easy Tour and then gradually increase the difficulty?

Mountain railways can take you and your bike all over the region. This opens up great variations on our Tours or simply a convenient Plan-B if your plans change along the way. It's always worth taking a look at the special biker tickets.
