Don't let the weather stop you! Win with Five Ten! – Stuttgart & Swabian Alb

Mountain Biking Collection by adidas Five Ten

You don't want to be stuck on the sofa during the cold, wet half of the year, not knowing what to do instead. Sounds like you? Then this Collection is just right. We show you the most beautiful spots in Stuttgart and the Swabian Alb, which are fun even in bad weather. Once you're out in the fresh air, cycling through colourful forests and lonely gorges, you'll get to know and love the special charm of this time of year.

Rain, thick fog and dramatic clouds give the ruins of Reußenstein Castle a mystical flair all of its own. And the best thing is: you’ll have some of these places – like the romantic Schwälblesklinge river or the idyllic Trailfinger Gorge – all to yourself in this weather.

If it does get too uncomfortable, just take a break in one of the cosy cafés in the Stuttgart Valley basin or one of the rustic hikers' huts in the Swabian Alb. Don't forget your lights, because on such grey days visibility can be limited. Even if you take every puddle with you on your way home, you won't be able to get the grin off your face. That's a promise!

And no matter what conditions await you, no matter what terrain, with the adidas Five Ten Trailcross mountain biking shoe, you can explore even the most remote forests all year round. Its waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX membrane keeps your feet pleasantly dry even in rain and snow. The non-slip rubber outsole guarantees optimum grip on the pedals and its flexible neoprene upper keeps mud and small stones out. So nothing, not even the worst weather, will stop you from your bike ride.

To motivate you even more, we're organising a competition for you:

- Grab a Highlight from the Collection or find another great destination and plan your own Tour in wet weather.
- Take a few photos during the Tour to capture the atmosphere and include the hashtag #brandofthebrave in the Tour title.
- Follow adidas Five Ten on komoot and tag us as a participant of the Tour.

We will raffle off two Five Ten Trailcross packages among all participants. Each package includes the Five Ten Trailcross GORE-TEX mountain bike shoe and a Five Ten TrailX long-sleeve. If, for any reason, these products are not available, the winners will instead receive a 250 euro voucher for the online shop at adidas.de.

    Trailfinger Schlucht

    Bike Touring Highlight (Segment)

This section leads through a romantic rock canyon. Here it is always nice and shady, pleasantly cool and most of the time the forest path is also quite humid. So it hardly makes a difference whether you take the Trailfinger Gorge under your tunnels on a gray, rainy autumn day or on a sunny summer day. This path is absolutely recommendable at any time of the year. In the middle is the Ermsquelle and at the bottom there is a self-service kiosk with cool drinks.
