The island of Majorca was once known as ‘the island of calm’. Although the reality is very different today, we can still find some tranquility in the Tramuntana mountain range.
This 162-kilometre (100 mi) route, divided into three stages, was designed by Nomad Martin. It covers the island from west to east, seeking out mountains and forests along the north coast, paradisiacal beaches in the south and fairytale stone villages in between.

The first stage begins in San Telmo, a picturesque coastal town located on the west coast. Shortly after you find a gravel path that leads you to one of the highlights of the Route: Punta Negra, a pine forest that houses an ideal rest area to witness the island of Sa Dragonera in full.
