In the last two years we had the special chance to explore the nature in our immediate surroundings in a new way. Due to Corona, we didn't travel to distant countries - the forests, low mountain ranges, lakes and river valleys in the immediate vicinity became all the more important to us. Lo and behold - there's an incredible amount to discover here, and it's all just a short journey from our own home. We asked our community which paths they have newly discovered for themselves and here comes the top ten.
We want to encourage you to experience and discover the freedom of nature right on your own doorstep. To do this, we asked our community of hikers and nature lovers to share their favourite local hikes, trails and walks. The result is a wonderful mix of ten hikes and walks in Germany, southern England and Austria. See for yourself and be inspired to go on your own Wolftrail.
Walking is about much more than just being active. The benefits of time spent outdoors on our wellbeing are well documented. Heading for the trails is the ideal way to unwind and find space to breathe. And, of course, there are opportunities to make new friends and share rich experiences together.
