Wandern mit Zelt durch die Wildnis? Abende am Lagerfeuer und Aufwachen von Gesang der Vögel? Das geht auch in Deutschland zum Beispiel auf dem Soonwaldsteig. Ich hatte für das letzte Wochenende eine dreitägige Trekkingtour auf dem Soonwaldsteig geplant. Da mir der gesamte Steig mit 85 Kilometern für die Zeit zu lang gewesen wäre, habe ich mir Schwarzerden bzw. den Alteburg als Startpunkt herausgesucht, den man auch mit dem öffentlichen Nahverkehr erreichen kann.

Our second day on the Soonwaldsteig led us from the trekking camp on the Ochsenbaumer Höhe to the Lauschhütte. Of course, only after we had enjoyed the quiet morning mood in the forest in the camp, made coffee and eaten a large portion of rice pudding.

Our last day on the Soonwaldsteig started after a restful night. Because of the rain the day before, we swapped our place on the tent meadow and swapped a bed in a cozy "forest mobile" - you just have to celebrate the festivities as they happen, right?

The last stage was definitely the absolute highlight…
