Les étapes de reconnaissance ou amélioration effectuées en 2021 avant le traçage définitif de l'itinéraire des 7 Mineurs Gravel, destiné à être une randonnée permanente dans le giron du #TeamCyclosportissimo, et pourquoi pas à être une épreuve de bikepacking off road ? Le kilomètrage total devrait être autour de 600 km et le dénivelé + entre 14 000 et 15 000 m. Certaines sections sont roulantes et sur petites routes secondaires sans aucune circulation, par contre de longues sections seront entièrement ou presque off road, avec des passages fun et techniques - mais toujours passables sur le vélo. Les 7 Mineurs sont constitués par les 7 séries de Monts/massifs montagneux que sont les monts du Beaujolais, de la Madeleine, du Forez, du Livradois, du Pilat, du Lyonnais, et les monts d'Or.
