The starting points of the circular Tours are all located at railway stations, so you can travel comfortably by rail. To take your bike with you on the train, it's best to buy a day ticket for local transport. If you’d rather leave your bike at home, simply hire one locally. To make sure you always find your way from the station to the saddle quickly, we show you where the nearest bike hire is in each Tour.
The starting points of the Tours are in Ulm, Biberach an der Riß, Aulendorf, Ravensburg, Meckenbeuren (or Friedrichshafen) and Lindau. From Ulm, you explore the river valleys of the Danube, Iller, Nau and Lone. From Biberach, you set off into the enchanted worlds of the Wilden Ried and the Federseemoor with its UNESCO World Heritage thatched wooden dwellings. Further south, near Aulendorf, you can explore the Wurzacher Ried and near Ravensburg you can immerse yourself in wild, romantic forests through which wild rivers like the Schussen rush. In the far south, you can explore the beautiful shores of Lake Constance from Meckenbeuren or Friedrichshafen, and Lindau.
