Gewitter, Hagel, heiße Tage, Dauer-Niesel-Regen waren unsere Begleiter.

On the first day we traveled to Cochem by train via Koblenz. From there it went on to Daun in the Eifel with a regular "Radbus" bus.

Here, at the Daun train station, our actual bike tour started in cool spring weather.

The first few kilometers are steadily uphill, with luggage and without electrical assistance

After we had thunderstorms and hail on the first day, the weather gods had something else in store for us today. It should be the hottest day, the longest day's stage and a short climb on which it was time to push.

Starting in Wittlich, we left the MMR today and continued on the Salm cycle path to the

On the 3rd day we continued to follow the course of the Moselle and this time with great cycling weather.

The starting point was of course Bernkastel-Kues, then it went 2-3 loops on the Moselle to Traben-Trarbach. After a very good roast roll on the south side of the famous bridge, we changed the Moselle

The 4th day of our trip greeted us with liquid sunshine. One of the advantages of this weather was that only a few cyclists were on the road.

In any case, we didn't let ourselves get down and made the best of it.

After a hearty breakfast we started in Alf.

After intermediate stops in Beilstein, there was

To anticipate, today's 5th day should be a dry one, albeit with a little cool wind.

In the morning it started in Treis-Karden, past Kobern-Gondorf and Winningen to the mouth of the Moselle at Deutsches Eck in Koblenz.

The whole day we were drawn to this destination, the German Corner ..... the destination

On the morning of the 6th day we were surprised by the wonderful weather, the sun was shining and it was warm.

We still had a few hours before our train drove us home. So we went into the old town and looked around a little, had another coffee and ate ice cream and then we were back on our bikes.
