The Gatterl is a border crossing between Germany and Austria that is worth seeing and offers a great view of the Reintal, the Zugspitze and the surrounding mountain ranges. The path from the German side is bare, full of rubble and leads to the Knorrhütte. In the Austrian direction, after a short climb, there is a landscape of green mountain slopes, in which many small streams have their source. Both sides and the Gatterl are highly recommended!

The bright turquoise high mountain lake at 1657 meters altitude is one of the most beautiful hiking destinations in Tyrol. Here you can refresh yourself in the cool water. On windless days, the Zugspitze massif is reflected in it. If you do not have enough, head up to the Coburger Hütte and the Drachensee.

The ascent to the Coburger Hütte is definitely worthwhile, if only because of the wonderful view of the crystal-clear Drachensee.

Once you have crossed the Tajatörl and descended to the Drachensee, you have a magnificent view of the Drachensee and Drachenkopf during the descent. You can stop off at the Coburger Hütte directly on the lake and also spend the night there.

Great panoramic mountain (start and finish parking lot Mooslift / Berwang) ... All-round panoramic view of the Wetterstein Mountains / Zugspitze, Lech Valley, Heiterwanger and Plansee ... to name just a few. Take something to eat and drink with you, as there is no stop on the way up and back.
Info for dog owners: For "off-road" and running dogs, the ascent and descent is easy to master :-)
