Are you one of the lucky ones who got a new bike before they were sold out all over Germany? It's just a shame that the weather hasn't been at its best so far. You finally want to take out your new gravel or trekking bike and May barely makes it into double-digit temperatures! We know the problem - but we have the solution. Open the curtains, look out the window and what can you see? That's right, summer is waiting outside at last! This is the perfect moment to move your workout outside, discover the blossoming nature and get your tired legs back into shape.
We've come up with an incentive to make it even easier for you. With our #rausundlos Outdoor Initiative, we've got a little challenge: ride your bike at least 125 kilometres (78 mi) in a month. Once you've got a taste for it you won’t want to get off the saddle. Your bike will get you out into nature in no time, even in big cities and at a speed that gives you enough time to take in your surroundings.
To help you with the challenge, we've picked out some lovely bike routes with each being exactly 42 kilometres (26 mi) long. Just pick your three favourite Tours and plan them for the current or next calendar month – you’ll tick off the challenge in no time!
So, do you accept our challenge? Simply download the TK app, start TK-Fit (the fitness programme in the TK app) and take part in the challenge. If you complete it, you can earn up to 1,000 points for the TK bonus programme. You can either redeem those points for future treatments that you normally have to pay for or treat yourself to our rewards.
Just one more thing: if you go on a Tour with komoot, follow us, tag us as a participant after your ride and write #rausundlos in the title – we’d love to see who takes part in the challenge here. If you prefer to share your adventures on Instagram or Facebook, you can tag us by using #rausundlos. We'll meet you in the great outdoors!

The tour starts at Heidenheim-Schnaitheim train station, so that you can travel comfortably by train. At the start of the tour you drive a bit along the Brenz and then cycle through the Steinheimer basin, which was created by a meteorite impact. On the way you can make a detour to the mountain hut Kraterblick and see the pool from above.
The starting point of the round is in Zwiesel at the train station. At the start of the tour you drive to the Kleiner Regen and follow it through a dreamlike forest and meadow landscape to the Frauenau reservoir. On the shore of the lake you cycle through a romantic forest that will soon merge into the Bavarian Forest National Park. Surrounded by pristine nature, it goes up to the Hochschachten.
It starts in Seeshaupt on Lake Starnberg. Get on the saddle right at the train station and cycle straight to the Osterseen nature reserve. On the west bank of the Großer Ostersee it goes south and past the Sengsee, Fohnsee and Eishaussee again a bit to the north. Then the route takes you east, away from the Osterseen and Starnberger See, through rural idyll.
In Eichstätt at the train station you step into the circuit through the Altmühltal nature park. Right at the beginning you cycle on a flat stretch along the river. You follow the playful loops of the Altmühl through its lovely valley. At Dollnstein you can marvel at the imposing dry slopes before you take a steep climb to the surrounding heights.
