Harzer Wandernadel

Today around Friedrichsbrunn to the Laubtalblick and the Echowiese. Many beautiful paths but also wasteland changed.

Dead forest in the Harz is part of the 2020 sight.

Nice round not far from Wernigerode. Sunshine and spring air were very pleasant. The first leaves on bushes and trees made the sight of dead wood more bearable. There were also three stamps. 😊

Today, in the best weather, let's go! It went up through the Ilsetal and over the stamp book. It went down over the Zeterklippe and the Molkenhausstern. The path is blocked, but only from one side! 🤔 It is really dangerous and not recommended! Continue to the Bremer Hütte and through the Ilsetal.

Today we went to the Hasselvorsperre. Small round around the reservoir. Actually a nice, family-friendly tour, but the forest, or rather the remains of it, spoil the impression enormously. Where there was once green there is now brown. I hope I will see real forest again in my life!

Wonderful hike to the Prinzensicht over the Bodetal.

Today a nice round, hiked from the Michaelstein Monastery. Unfortunately everything is closed and so we could only look at the fish. 😊

Hiked a lap around Hasserode today. The forest has almost disappeared there too. Much wasted! We still have to get used to it. 😏

Of the Güntersburg, stamping point HWN Burgen & Schlösser, only the foundation walls of the gate towers can be seen in the grass.

On the way there, you pass the Katzsohlteich, HWN 172, where there is a nice resting place.

Wonderful tour with my grandson to the Brocken! He had wanted the way through the Ilsetal! 😅 Without a single grumble, Oskar did the tour! 👍👏 The dead forest scared him too! 😒
