Nice walk through the south-western part of the Holtingerveld. The fog created beautiful scenes. The area clearly contains traces of the Ice Age, dolmens and burial mounds. Traces of WWII are also visible through the various bomb craters. A German narrow gauge railway from WWII runs through the heath and forest area.

Cycle route on the Holtingerveld. Ride with forest paths, loose sand paths and fast gravel. The start of the route is very busy because of the hunebeds present.
