The Allgäu Cycle Route takes you to the most beautiful corners of southern Germany and Tyrol: through magnificent mountain scenery with breathtaking Alpine panoramas, past glittering lakes and rushing rivers, into wildly romantic forests and across picturesque, wide meadows. Historic towns and charming villages invite you to relax and enjoy regional delicacies along the way.

The 480-kilometre cycle tour takes you through the Allgäu and beyond. The varied tour takes you through Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg and Tyrol. The quality route, which has been awarded four stars by the ADFC, is pleasant to ride, even though it has many gradients. Thanks to the good infrastructure along the route, the tour is suitable for everyone, whether hobby cyclist or ambitious touring cyclist. With numerous bed & bike accommodations, places to stop for refreshments and train stations, you can individually adapt the bike tour to your needs: halve the stages, take more breaks or take a short train ride. You also have the opportunity to ride the Allgäu Cycle Route and the Iller Cycle Route in different variations of the Allgäu Cycle Route.

In this collection we show you how to cycle the Allgäu Cycle Route in seven stages from Füssen. As it is a round trip, you can also start at any other point on the cycle path. The starting point in Füssen is easily reached by regional trains (bahn.de). From the starting point you cycle counterclockwise in several loops to the most beautiful corners of the Allgäu, which take you through places like Ottobeuren, Wangen im Allgäu, Immenstadt and Memmingen. In addition to the pretty towns, the beautiful countryside, closeness to nature and delicious regional cuisine await you along the way. The cycle tour Allgäu is a cycle path that you will enjoy with all your senses.
