You can discover the sister cities of Bremen and Bremerhaven by bike with ease. Varied routes take you to the most beautiful highlights of the cities, lead you along the Weser River and show you the colourful hustle and bustle in the harbours. Away from the thriving city, wonderful landscapes await you. Here, you can let your gaze wander over wide meadows, watch water buffalo graze, observe birds and spot snakes, frogs and other inhabitants in the thick grass.

In this Collection, we present the 11 most beautiful circular Tours in Bremen, Bremerhaven and the surrounding area that let you jump straight on your saddle. They’re between 15 and 62 kilometres (9.3 - 38.5 mi) long and all flat so you can choose between a leisurely half-day ride or a long day adventure. There’s plenty to see and do and culinary delights along the way. A cosy place to stop for refreshments is included on every Tours. If you want to stay longer, Bremen and Bremerhaven also offer a wide range of cycle-friendly, ADFC-certified Bett+Bike (bed and bike) accommodation. So nothing stands in the way of a relaxed cycling holiday.

You don't even need to bring your own bike. In Bremen, you’ll find a bicycle rental system with 40 fixed stations. In addition, there are a number of bike rental shops in the city where you can hire children's bikes, trailers and specialised bikes too. If your tyre needs a repair, Bremen Bike it! RadServiceStationen (bike service stations) are a great solution At the stations, you’ll find a repair kit and air pump free of charge as well as tools for minor repairs and inner tubes. Plus, there are several self-help bicycle workshops in the city.

To get from Bremen to Bremerhaven and vice versa, you can either cycle along the Weser Cycle Path, take the train or catch the ferry. In addition to Bremerhaven, you can also take the ferry to Überseestadt or to the north of Bremen – a great opportunity to combine your cycle ride with a boat trip.
