Mother Nature created countless dreamlike places on our planet, but she put in extra effort when making the Swabian Jura. With gentle high plateaus, dense forests, deep river valleys, and striking rocks, this region is one of the most spectacular in Germany. Thanks to its valleys, rocky landscape and steep climb, sporty hikers will find a slice of heaven here.

A hike through the Swabian Jura takes you along the Young Danube River, which shaped the region and along the Albtrauf high plateau with its countless caves. You will hike in the footsteps of humans who have been coming to the wild valleys and rugged plateaus here for over 40,000 years, leaving behind an impressive history.

This Collection takes you on a journey through this history and the most beautiful parts of the Swabian Jura. The themed trails lead to impressive valleys, across extensive juniper heathlands, and through colourful forests. On all of the routes, breathtaking views await as well as a stop for refreshments.

- Explore the fantastic "Lion's territory" and learn about the legendary Staufer Dynasty on your Lion Path route.
- Discover winding river valleys, turquoise springs, fascinating rock formations, and mysterious caves on the Ice Age Trail.
- Wander varied paths and scenic cliffs of the Hohenurach Trail and learn more about the history of the Swabian Jura
- Hike through the rocky landscape of the Danube Valley and enjoy magnificent views on the Danube Felsen Walk.
- Enjoy light-flooded forests, lonely plateaus, and the typical juniper heaths on premium “Traufgänger” hiking trails.
- Find relaxation and pristine nature in the popular high mountains.
- Discover orchard meadows on the fruit route
- Visit the "Swabian Grand Canyon" on the DonauWellen route and enjoy the varied landscape along the high alpine paths.

Whatever it is that you love about hiking, you will find it in the Swabian Jura (and in this Collection).
