The Pillerseetal region in Austria offers mountain biking adventures that dreams are made of. Nestled in the centre of the Kitzbühel Alps, the Pillerseetal is a holiday paradise with wonderful nature. Between the mighty stone peaks, gentle grass-covered mountains and babbling streams, this is a wonderful place to switch off and forget everyday life for a while.
With this Collection, we present your personal escape among the impressive rocky landscapes of the Lofer Mountains. We know how good this can be; for your hiking legs and above all, for the soul.
We have lovingly compiled a small but lovely selection of hikes, including four Tours and lots of unique highlights. The first Tour to the Schießlingalm and the summit cross of the same name serves as a warm-up to help you get acquainted with our region. Tour two is a bit more ambitious, taking you first to the Heimkehrerkreuz and then on to the Seehorn with its great views. There is one place that should be included on every short trip itinerary in the Pillerseetal – the well-known and loved Nuaracher Höhenweg (Nuaracher high trail). Divided into two stages, this route is the absolute highlight of any holiday in the Pillerseetal.
You can easily reach our valley by car or by train. Trains run to Fieberbrunn, Pfaffenschwendt and Hochfilzen stations several times a day. The excellent network of local buses also means it’s convenient to move around during your stay.
The special hiking accommodations are the perfect starting point for all of your walks. Here, you can find a warm bed and the necessary alpine expertise too: kitzbueheler-alpen.com/en/pital/accommodation/hiking.html. If you decide to walk the

Hiking Highlight
The predecessor of this beautiful church dates from around 1200 and at the beginning of the 15th century the pilgrimage church of St. Adolari was expanded in its current form. The sacristy was added around 1684. The interior with the largest Gothic Marien cycle in North Tyrol is particularly worth seeing. It's worth taking a look and you can also stop at the Adolari inn.

Very nice gorge. At the end of the gorge the devil hangs in a crevice. The gorge is located directly on the Waidringer Panoramaweg and is accessible free of charge.
