City, countryside and rivers – you can experience incredible variety in a small area around the Hohe Mark Nature Park. On just one bike ride through Münsterland, a region in North Rhine-Westphalia in northwestern Germany, you cycle through unique nature reserves, explore historic cities and ride along shimmering waters. It’s hard to find more diverse landscapes than here. An e-bike is a perfect means of transport. It allows you to experience this scenic beauty up close in a completely relaxed way. With a little help from electric power, you can conquer the climbs in the hilly forests of the Hohe Mark.

You can enjoy countless experiences in green nature in and around the Hohe Mark Nature Park, despite how close it is to civilisation. A network of well-developed cycle paths crisscrosses the region between the towns of Borken, Dülmen and Olfen. The Münsterland is characterised by park landscapes of meadows, forests and heaths which are home to many native wild animals. You can meet fallow deer, waterfowl and even wild horses here, as well as other forest dwellers.

Around the Hohe Mark, you also discover lakes, ponds, water meadows and canals. Culture also features in the landscapes as you explore typical Münsterland villages, historic towns and fairytale castles.

In this Collection, we present seven Tours that couldn't be more varied. Each of the e-bike routes has its own focus, but they all include a vibrant mix of city life, countryside and river landscape. You mostly cycle along flat paths which gives you plenty of time to marvel at the beautiful landscapes. The terrain is a little bit hillier in the forested areas of the Hohe Mark and the Weißen Venns (White Fens).

As these Tours are circular, you can easily join the route at any point. It’s up to you whether you travel by car or train. You also don’t have to worry about food as Münsterland is known for its excellent cuisine and there are numerous refreshment stops along the way.
