#CleanYourLocalForest & win with Five Ten – Munich to the Alps

Mountain Biking Collection by adidas Five Ten

Imagine you're riding on a flowy trail that leads along natural paths through a wonderfully dense forest. You suddenly see a plastic bottle that someone has obviously lost. So, you pick it up, of course. After all, the bottle has no business being on the trail and is an obstacle too.

What do you think about going one step further and setting even more of a good example? You could show other forest visitors that you care just as much about untouched nature as a mountain biker. Why not pack a rubbish bag in your rucksack for your Tour and collect a bit of rubbish along the route, at car parks or on the roadside. You don’t have to organise a big clean-up of course. It’s enough if everyone just takes a few minutes to help our forests to look a lot nicer!

And there’s more great news: for your good deed, you won’t only get positive karma. You have the chance to win one of four exclusive adidas Five Ten packages with great sustainable products for your mountain bike Tours. The package is available twice for women and twice for men. Each includes a pair of Five Ten Freerider Primeblue mountain bike shoes, a pair of Five Ten BOTB bike shorts and a Five Ten Bike TrailX T-shirt. There are also 500 Five Ten 25% discount codes up for grabs!

By the way, the entire outfit comes from adidas Five Ten's Primeblue product line. They are produced using high-performance recycled materials, some of which are made from Parley Ocean Plastic. This special project aims to rid beaches and coasts around the world of plastic waste by using it to produce new materials. This is an important step towards a plastic-free future for our oceans.

Joining the #CleanYourLocalForest initiative is easy:
1. follow adidas Five Ten on komoot and take us with you on your clean up, no matter if you walk or ride. You can either be inspired by the highlights in this Collection or ride your own favourite route.
2. show that you care about the environment and record your clean up Tour with komoot and add #CleanYourLocalForest to the title of the Tour.
3. tag adidas Five Ten as a participant in your Tour to share it with us and the community. Creative Tours with photos of your clean up have the chance to win one of 500 Five Ten 25% off codes! (You will be contacted by email)
4. repeat!
5. are you also interested in winning one of the four Five Ten packages? Then register for the prize draw by clicking on the "Enter Now" button.

So what are you waiting for? Let's go! #CleanYourLocalForest and make your personal contribution to a more beautiful forest!

Tours & Highlights

    München – Isartrails

    Mountain Biking Highlight (Segment)

Great as a training round. From the Marienklausenbrücke towards the south and back on the other side of the Isar! Partly very technical! Lots of roots! Best drivable when dry! Have a lot of fun!

    Fröttmaninger Berg

    Mountain Biking Highlight

Either to end a bike tour or for in between, the ascent to the wind turbine with a subsequent break to enjoy the all-round view is a must. Meeting point for mountain bikers, walkers and photographers (especially at sunset times). A few years ago you could still see the towering clouds of water vapor from the cooling tower of the Isar (Ohu) nuclear power plant east of Landshut in the northeast (as the crow flies about 65 kilometers away).

Great place behind Munich, where you can immerse yourself in the broad Isar to cool off.

    Aussichtshügel Unterföhring

    Mountain Biking Highlight

40 meter high hill north of Poschinger Weiher / Unterföhringer See with a view to the south. In addition to the normal way up, there are sometimes extremely steep trails down.

    Teilstück des Eibseetrails

    Mountain Biking Highlight (Segment)

Crisp S2-S3 downhill with partly loose boulders, roots and tight bends. Much fun!

    Panoramatrail

    Mountain Biking Highlight (Segment)

Here, if you want to enjoy the view, it is best to park your bike and enjoy it in peace. Driving technique and a head for heights should be more pronounced, the trail is well secured, but the abyss is dizzying. In any case, the view of Garmisch, the local mountain and towards the Zugspitze is impressive.

Cooler Trail von der Holzeralm runter

    Schöner, steiler Trail abwärts

    Mountain Biking Highlight

This trail puts you in a good mood when you go up and even more fun when you go down. You can immediately combine it with a tour to the Kreuzbergalm. Good view of the Wendelstein and the mountains on the Tegernsee, when you are at the top of the Kreuzbergalm.

    Spitzing-Trail

    Mountain Biking Highlight (Segment)

Nice stony descent, but you can also go uphill! Always drive here when it goes up to the Spitzing, much nicer than the road!

    Singletrail

    Mountain Biking Highlight (Segment)

In fact, fun and easy to drive. Ideally ride during the week, because of the hikers and never without trail etiquette and sensitive handling of the brakes. The upper part has been carefully laid out and if we want to continue biking there, we should behave appropriately.

    Sehr guter Trail

    Mountain Biking Highlight (Segment)

This is really a great trail, a maximum of S2, you have to be careful in 2-3 places. Mixture of root passages and rather stony terrain. You can drive quickly and have fun. Sometimes a bit dark, unfortunately, because the forest is dense over it. Take care of the cows towards the end.

    Wappbachtal

    Mountain Biking Highlight (Segment)

As an ascent to the Röthelmoos, the variant via the Wappbachtal is highly recommended. Constantly slight incline, always along a small stream on a forest road. Can also be done with children.

    Kurzer, einfacher Weg im Wald

    Mountain Biking Highlight (Segment)

Can be driven from both directions, beautiful routing along a stream and with lots of shade. I drove from east to west myself - from the apex you can let yourself run and enjoy. Technically very easy.

    Amper-Trail

    Mountain Biking Highlight (Segment)

Wonderful little trail right on the Amper, lots of nature, dead wood, animals. When the weather is nice, there is a little more going on at the weekend.

    Würmtal – wunderschön

    Mountain Biking Highlight (Segment)

A really great corner. The early riser is rewarded and gets to see great birds. I like to drive along here more slowly to look
