We live for adventure and we’re always on the lookout for new experiences. We love a challenge – the steepest climbs and the most epic descents. But, for us, it’s not the competition that counts, it’s about sharing the same love for the sport. In this Collection we present to you 15 of our most beautiful and most challenging routes. These classics show you the prettiest places and roads in our huge backyard.

In Offenbach we’re lucky to have some of the most beautiful hills at our doorstep. We’re riding deep into mysterious woods of the Spessart mountains, up to the heights of Vogelsberg, through the dreamy Odenwald and across the fairytale-like Taunus. We conquer epic summits such as Großer Feldberg, Hoherodskopf and Katzenbuckel, but also many secret summits that you will fall in love with. If you feel more like riding in the flatlands, take on the Hohenaue and hammer through the low-lying Hessian Ried.

Whether with a couple of friends or alone: Discover the tracks of the sunnosun Riding Club and ride the routes around Offenbach and Frankfurt that we truly care about. Like all our rides, these have been put together with a lot of love and care, tested and approved by the community. You can be sure that we only guide you along the finest roads of the area.

All loops start and end directly at My Piecycle, the cycling cafe with vintage flair. My Piecycle is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm. Here you’ll find sustenance and refreshments before or after your ride and meet like minded riders. So download the routes, enjoy the stoke and we’ll see you later at My Piecycle.

You dive into the Taunus over the ascent at the Bundeswehr depot Köppern, after which one highlight after the other awaits you. The loop through the Weiltal is fantastic and hardly ever used. Suddenly unexpected ramps appear with 18% in places. A gelato stop in Runkel is a must.

An extensive loop from Offenbach through the wooded Spessart to the Bavarian side. It leads over fantastically empty and very well paved roads. You cross the Main and roll along roads well hidden in the forest into the seemingly endless Hafenlohr valley. Here it goes gently downhill for kilometers

Altitude meters, speed and enjoyment all come together here. It goes over lush climbs and through deep, impressive valleys. First flat along the banks of the Main, then across Wiesbaden and over the Hohe Wurzel and Bad Schwalbach into the magical Wispertal, where it rolls almost by itself.

The loop is insidious. It starts with the first easy climbs through Lorsbachtal, immediately followed by Ruppertshainer Berg, which can be really painful upstairs. As a punch line - or cream on the sundae, depending on the case - there is the Feldberg as the last summit.

Fantastically quiet streets, hardly any traffic and epic asphalt await you on this excursion.

The hollow hump is a fairly steady climb and the gateway to the Spessart. On the way there and back, many highlights await you and there is really little traffic here - that's what the Spessart is known for and that's why we like to drive here so much.

First it goes past the Niddastausee, then over the dam and up to the Hoherodskopf. The climb is crisp. On the last kilometers up to the summit, an average of 10% goes up. The legs like to start steaming.

The Katzenbuckel is considered to be the highest peak in the Odenwald. On the way there are numerous switchbacks and lots of hills that have to be conquered. In Michelstadt, Café Siefert is an absolute must for a stop, because it serves world champion waffles.

We like to tackle the warrior group at the end of the day. It's flat and fast to Darmstadt and then over the hills of the northern Odenwald. After the first ascent to Frankenstein Castle, there are endless views and the finest paved dirt roads.

The Hohenaue Tour to Hessian Ried is the fastest lap in the Grand Tour Collection. Here you can really accelerate and always stay on the big sheet. There are no inclines, only straight lines. So have fun shooting!

We have been doing this tour unchanged for a good 2 years now. On the way to Munzenberg you can expect quiet roads, unexpected climbs over narrow forest paths and beautifully paved roads for shooting.

As the name suggests - this tour takes you to the enlightenment of your Self. You haven't seen anything like Buddha's path. From kilometer 73 you will find yourself on roads that are usually no wider than a car and are hardly ever used. Of course, a romantic ferry ride should not be missing either.

  • My Piecycle Rad und Trinkkultur

    Road Cycling Highlight

Anyone who likes to get around on their beloved two wheels in the Rhine-Main area should know this gem in Offenbach. The My Piecycle impresses with its charming interior, authentic flair and, of course, professional competence. Here is a complete package of cycling fun. Next to the café is the bike workshop.

The Sun no Sun Club starts and organizes its trips from here. Racing bikes are used more frequently in summer, and gravel bikes in winter and autumn. In addition, some cycle tours start from the beautiful Mathildenviertel, for example to France.

After a euphoric ride, you can have a good time in the best surroundings. With coffee, cake and other delicacies, the joint ride can be evaluated in a relaxed manner and new ideas can be brought to life. In the nice shop you can currently find Muc-Off, Fingers Crossed, SNS Haute Couture and Biehler. If you haven't been there yet, you should change that if possible.
