Starting from Carsington Reservoir, a mostly gravel loop on the flattish High Peak and Tissington trails. It's a slog up from Cromford though!

A challenging 100 mile / 160 km route that takes in some of the most scenic areas of Mid Wales including the 25% ramp of Devils Staircase.

From the small town of Llandovery the ride leaves for a few miles of very gradual climbing and one of the only A road sections of the road. Turning off you climb Epynt

Biased more towards the road, but some sweet gravel and forest trail routes included along the way.

A loop containing a mixture of back lanes and main roads. A few decent descents, but nothing major on the climbing front.

As for sights, you travel under the White Horse on the way to Bratton plus when you drop down Bowden Hill you aren't far from Lacock.

This is a route that I test gravel bikes on for off.road.cc & road.cc. It takes in sections of road and gravel with some steep climbs and technical descents - the grind up Cardiac Hill after a few miles will explain why it has earned that nickname ;D.

Easy road ride. Great for any fitness level. Mostly well-paved surfaces and easy to ride.

When I first started riding 20 years ago this little loop became my test route to see how my fitness was increasing.

A flowing route with a sting in the tail when leaving Buckhorn Weston, but when you make it to the top it'll give you a boost and there is a decent descent to come as you leave Cucklington.

This route takes you through the Longleat Estate in front of the house and up the steep climb to exit the grounds.

Worth it for the stunning views!
