As for sights, you travel under the White Horse on the way to Bratton plus when you drop down Bowden Hill you aren't far from Lacock.

When I first started riding 20 years ago this little loop became my test route to see how my fitness was increasing.
A flowing route with a sting in the tail when leaving Buckhorn Weston, but when you make it to the top it'll give you a boost and there is a decent descent to come as you leave Cucklington.
