On 21 diverse rides, you'll wind through the incredible natural landscapes between Salzburg's northern lakes and the breathtaking Salzkammergut, from the urban flair of the city of Mozart to the magnificent mountainous surroundings. The area, known as 'the SalzburgerLand and Salzkammergut road bike region, is incredibly diverse and is considered a real insider tip by road cyclists for good reason.

Bike-friendly hotels offer the perfect accommodation for your active holiday. All hotels have been designed with cyclists in mind and deliver everything a biker needs, from catering, lockable bike rooms, repair stations to equipment rental. In fact, many also take it one step further and offer bike rentals, wellness treatments, attractive short or long stay packages and training camps.

Situated in such an awe-inspiring landscape, it should come as no surprise that the SalzburgerLand and Salzkammergut region holds numerous biking events throughout the year. And, 2021 is no different. For example, the 5-Lakes Cycle Marathon and the King-of-the-Lake are all planned to take place this year.
