The area, known as 'the SalzburgerLand and Salzkammergut road bike region, is incredibly diverse and is considered a real insider tip by road cyclists for good reason.

The Weltterberunde is a short, crisp racing bike tour and takes you right through the heart of the Dachstein Salzkammergut region and the Ausseerland. Highlights of the tour are the ride along the clear Lake Hallstatt and the mountain stage over the Koppenpass with 16 percent gradient.The central starting point is the car park Goisern Mitte at the Rennradregion Hotel Gasthof Moserwirt. On the B 145 it goes along the Hallstättersee to Hallstatt, further on the lake you get to Obertraun, where the crisp rise over the Koppenpass to Bad Aussee begins. You make it, then you roll relaxed through Bad Aussee in Styria.Afterwards the next series of ascents, the highlight of which is the crossing of the Pötschenpass on the Salzkammergut-Bundesstraße. At the Pötschenhöhe you finally made it and can enjoy the descent to Bad Goisern to the starting point.
Along the almost untracked roads of the Salzburg Lake District, it goes to Salzburg city and from there with a crisp mountain stage on the Gaisberg. From there you can enjoy the fantastic view of the festival city and then reward yourself with a speedy downhill ride. After another short climb over the Heuberg it goes back along the Wallersee to Neumarkt.

The classic of the Mondsee-5-Lakes-Radmarathon takes you from Mondsee to Bad Ischl and back. Along the Mondsee, Lake Wolfgang and over picturesque side roads to Bad Ischl, this route then leads over the impressive Weissenbachtal, which is perfect for an eight-kilometer Sprintteinheit, along the southern shore of Lake Attersee and Mondsee back to Mondsee.
The medium-difficult competition course of the Radmarathon leads exclusively through the Salzkammergut. This challenging tour leads beautifully along the banks of the Mondsee, then it goes over the Scharfling down to St. Gilgen and along Lake Wolfgang in the direction of the famous Salzkammergut city Bad Ischl. From there, the route leads through the varied Salzkammergut landscape to Lake Traunsee. Then it goes on the banks of the fantastically located Attersses back towards Mondsee and the starting point of the route.
The longest competition track of the "Mondsee" passes through almost the entire Salzkammergut and gives wonderful insights into one of the most impressive natural and cultural landscapes in Austria. The highlight of the route is certainly the twelve-kilometer mountain classification on the Postalm. The World Heritage region Hallstatt-Dachstein is also part of this scenic tour as all known Salzkammergut lakes.
This interplay of mountain and lakes takes you past the Wolfgangsee to the Postalm - Austria's largest plateau, past beautifully situated alpine huts, which invite you to a cozy rest. In a rapid, long descent then it goes into the Lammertal and with the impressive Tennengebirge in the back on Kuchl, Hallein and the Wiestal back to the Fuschlseeregion.
This moderately difficult tour includes some varied challenges for both sprinters and climbers. The magnificent views of Fuschlsee, Mondsee, Wolfgangsee and Hintersee make up for burning thighs. This short tour is one of the queen stages of the racing cycle region Salzburgerland-Salzkammergut. From Fuschl am See you cycle through idyllic villages and over beautiful side streets in the direction of the Gaisberg in front of the festival city of Salzburg. After the demanding climb over the Serpentienen on the Gaisberg cyclists are rewarded with a wonderful panoramic view of the city of Salzburg. Back then it goes quite comfortably to Fuschlsee and this along to the starting point.
Wonderful mountain tour over 120 kilometers and 2,300 vertical meters over the Rossfeld scenic road. The tour leads over Freilassing, Reichenhall and the Thumsee in the Bavarian Ramsau and then it goes up to the Rossfeld. Enjoy the marvelous view over the mountains of Salzburg up to the city Salzburg, before it goes in a fast descent over Hallein and through the city Salzburg back to Bergheim.
A drive through the picture-book landscape of the Salzkammergut with beautiful vantage points to the Mondsee, Attersee and the Großalm. Enjoy the drive along the Traun in the direction of Bad Ischl and the romantic route through the Weißenbachtal.
Along the foothills of the Alps, you cycle this beautiful, medium-difficult route to the Benedictine abbey Michaelbeuern. Continue to Mattighofen, the hometown of the famous KTM factory. Back over the wonderful, hilly landscape of the Innviertel and the Kobernaußerwald with its easy to drive, short climbs.
The rather leisurely tour leads over almost 40 kilometers through the picturesque Fuschlseeregion and offers with two crisp climbs some sporting incentive. Especially scenic is the passage through the Strubklamm between Ebenau and Faistenau. Beautiful mountain landscapes alternate here with small villages and idyllic forests.
This short road bike tour is a bit like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. It is relaxed, flat and offers plenty of opportunities for a break with refreshment around the lake. So far, so chilly. Until the riparian forest comes. Here you can expect a short but crisp mountain classification. At least 250 meters in altitude are a small challenge and an intense change from the flat endurance ride around the lake. So get out of the saddle - give it all and see if you can take on the King of Mountain! As a reward there's also a nice descent, promised. And after this little trick, the Attersee is waiting for you with an easy cooldown program.
The sometimes challenging but rather short tour leads around the well-known Attersee hills Hongar, Richtberg and Gahberg and reaches the communities Schörfling, Aurach, Weyregg, Steinbach and Altmünster on Traunsee. Especially the route along the beautiful Attersee-Ostufer impresses with breathtaking views of the beautiful Salzkammergut lake.
