    The Vilstal cycle path begins at the train station in Dorfen and leads on the former railway line via Eibach, Schaupping and Taufkirchen to Velden. From Taufkirchen the cycle path follows the course of the Vils. In Vilsbiburg it meets the Isar-Vils and Vils-Rott cycle paths. The Vilstalradweg leads via Reisbach and Aldersbach to Vilshofen. There it is connected to the Danube Cycle Path and the Ohetal Cycle Path. True to the motto “swimming trunks, beer and baroque”, it leads a total of 244 kilometers from Passau via Landshut to Regensburg. This shows the 44 km long section from Landshut with a connection to the Isar cycle path to Rohr in Niederbayern to the Laber-Abens cycle path.
