Hydration pack filled, bars packed and chain oiled? Wonderful, then you can set off on one of our single trail day Tours in one of the best biking areas in Germany: Dresden. Now that winter is finally subsiding and the sun is warming up the trails, it’s about time to finally head back into the forest. In this Collection, we’ve put together six trail-heavy MTB Tours that introduce you to Dresden’s diversity.

In addition to a fantastic network of home trails, two of the best bike parks outside of England are within an hour's drive of Dresden – the Trailcenter Rabenberg and the Bikepark Elstra. But the city's surrounding countryside has even more to offer: The region around Freital valley and the area along the Elbe Cycle Path offer many metres of altitude and trail descents for all skill levels.

To take full advantage of these epic trails, you can rent and test ride all of our mountain bikes, from light hardtails to full-throttle enduro bikes at the GIANT test centre in Dresden Neustadt. You can also buy body protection and other accessories there so that you’re ready to set off on an adventure. From the store, you can reach nature within a few minutes and, after your ride, you can relax in one of the cool pubs in this district of Dresden with a chilled drink.

We certainly don't tell the Dresden bikers anything new when we describe the Dresdner Heide with its single trails as an absolute must-do in the area. Countless shapers and riders do a great job here to transform the city's backyard into a MTB Mecca.

This exit is packed with flow, enchanted forest paths and beautiful views over the city. Relaxed flow trails alternate with one or the other crisp enduro announcement and the demanding straken uphill over rough cobblestones is sometimes so steep that it is no shame if you dismount and push here for a

This tour has it all: Not only is the distance of 67.9 kilometers pretty tough without an e-bike, the 730 meters in altitude also promise to make you sweat a lot. On the other hand, you can look forward to a lot of trails on this trip to the Totenhäuschen, some of them flowing, some steep and technical

This tour is a real calf biter. Just over 1,000 meters in altitude and 57 kilometers are waiting to be conquered by you. You will also be technically challenged, especially on the Rockbrothers Trail. Even with an e-bike, this tour is not for beginners, but it rewards you with a lot of downhill fun and

The Rabenberg Trail Center is the first trail center outside of the United Kingdom to adopt the structure of the bike parks there. Instead of the usual lift uphills here, you cycle all the trails yourself. The Rabenberg Trail Center is not a downhill park, but made especially for cross-country and enduro

In this relaxed half-day tour you will explore the vicinity of the Black Mountain Bike Park in Elstra (black-mountain-bikepark.de).
