The chapel was built in the 17th century and sold to the Revolution like other chapels in 1794, but returned in 1829.
Restored in 1985 with the help of volunteers. The many statues were also cleaned to restore the beauty of bygone times.Surrounded by pine trees and elevated, the chapel is a great place for a break.
The abbey "Abbaye de Beauport" is one of the most important buildings of ecclesiastical architecture in Brittany. It was founded by the Premontan Order in 1202. The name "Beauport" (beautiful harbor) characterizes the exceptional location directly on the sea.

The abbey can be visited (6 €) and the exhibition is very appealing. We have the visit in June 2019 integrated into a very nice hike (komoot.de/tour/74591854).
