….. tours in bici da strada, con diversi gradi di difficoltà, per cicloturisti esperti
The tour of Lake Trasimeno is simple and of low difficulty even if 60km long; it's nice to do it counterclockwise, possibly in the afternoon, during the day it's very hot already in June. You will pass through very beautiful villages such as San Savino, Castiglione sul Lago, Magione, San Feliciano where you can visit the reserve, Passignano sul Trasimeno, the views are beautiful!
I start from Ossaia (AR), seat of ruotesagge.com, towards Passignano sul Lago Trasimeno; the border with Umbria is a few kilometers away and Punta Bella is a beautiful terrace overlooking Lake Trasimeno; the first 19 km are flat, then you turn left towards San Vito and the road rears up decidedly, 10 km of suffering or pleasure up to the Campana hill. The first 5 km up to Castel Rigone with peaks at 14%, the remaining 5 sweeter! San Vito deserves a stop for a photo at the 12th century stone lighthouse. After the Campana pass you go down for 6 km, terrible asphalt, steep and technical descent; you arrive on the plain and turn left along the SR416 del Niccone for 10 km up to Mercatale. There is a 6 km of light and enjoyable climb up to the Gosparini peak and then all the way down towards Tuoro, asphalt so-so, a panorama of 10 and praise! You return home along the last 10 km up & down on the SS75 del Trasimeno, on the right the bulk of the Castle of Monte Gualandro, on the left olive trees and vineyards that slope gently towards the lake

I start from Ossaia (AR), seat of ruotesagge.com, towards Cortona, then go up immediately, up to the market square where you take the descent to the left for Sodo. From here straight for the next 10 km towards Castiglion Fiorentino, before reaching the beautiful village, turn right towards the Val di Chio, beautiful, with very few cars up to Santo Stefano where you take the SP39, which climbs beautiful, hard, hard up to the step of the furnace; and now fast down to Ansina. Shortly after, we go up La Rassinata, 10 km at 7% average, beautiful woods of chestnut and oak trees. Arrived tired at the brow of Monte Dogana, go down quickly towards Palazzo del Pero; we are at km 55 and we turn left onto the provincial road that indicates Castiglion Fiorentino at 11 km, the road climbs gently up to the Foce pass without ever exceeding 5% for 5 km then again a beautiful descent to CF. Another 15 km of hills and you arrive home with almost 1400 meters of elevation gain + and 85 km on the legs. Guaranteed training and fun.
Montepulciano 66km - 800m dis +
you go upstream! I start from ruotesagge.com towards Montepulciano passing through Pietraia, Centoia and Barullo where you turn left crossing into Umbria, pedaling between Nobile vineyards and rolling hills; Petrignano, Case Giorgi Pentimento, Cozzano (these names are strong!) And we return to Tuscany. The road rises and falls continuously up to Acquaviva, then climbs decisively towards Monte. The return is fast due to the many descents and straights, the only roughness in Valiano, you go up to 13% then the last 10km up & down to home
