We continued on the Saale and Orlaradweg to the Bleilochtalsperre. 🚲🌲🚲. It rained in all variations, but it was still fun. The fitness ice cream cup at the end of the tour was more than deserved

Sporty round without significant gradients and with delightful views of the Brandenburg region.

I had planned to tackle the Berlin Wall Trail in one piece for a long time and today it finally worked. For the most part, the Wall Trail is very easy to drive. In the outskirts, the former convoy paths of the border groups dominate and in the center of Berlin cycle paths of all qualities.
The tour can…

Today I went on a bike tour within a 15 km radius of Potsdam. I wanted to find out what is possible.
It was dark, cold and humid and was still a lot of fun.

Today I put 3 normal bike tours together into one.
The first lap went south towards Blankensee. The second should actually lead via Ketzin an der Havel. But because the ferry wasn't running today, I rescheduled via Lehnin. The last and shortest lap was a classic towards Wannsee

With its 200.3 m, the Hagelberg is the second highest mountain in Brandenburg and thus joins the list of the eternally second-placed.

Expedition East is a gravel adventure organized by Leipzig cycling enthusiasts. There is a (370km 😎) and a long (520 km👀) version which must be completed without external support. The route went over perfect trails, crisp climbs and past great viewpoints. I had totally misjudged my route planning and…

The project “long cycling from sunset to sunrise” has been fermenting in my head for a long time. The first part of the route to Wittenberg was largely known to me and the lighting conditions made it easy to find your way around. After the familiar routes it became more difficult to find my way around…

In cycling, a brevet describes a long-distance ride that should be completed within a certain time. At 300km that's 20 hours.
The route I traveled was largely based on the Berliner Radring:

The route was very varied and especially the forest paths turned…

After the 200 certification in March, the 300 was up for testing today. It went easy pedaling from Erkner to the first checkpoints in Beeskow and Neuzelle. Then along the Oder (of course with a headwind) into 🇵🇱Poland. After the checkpoint in Moryn (PL) half of the route was done and we only had to…

The 200 certification is the shortest distance in long-distance riding. The trip organized by the Berlin randonneurs led from Berlin via Lindow, Fürstenberg, Himmelfort and Templin back to Berlin. It was really fun and I'm already looking forward to the 300 in April.

The 400 brevet was organized by the Saxon long-distance cyclists. These devil men and women are well known for their love for many meters of altitude 🏔🏔🚲. It all started harmlessly with nice people and the best cake 🍰. But after a day + a night in the saddle and the constant ups and downs, I had…

On July 1st/7 p.m., about 20 crazy long-distance cyclists met to ride a total of 600 km in less than 40 hours. From Berlin it should go via Bautzen to Jeschken (1012m) and via the Czech Republic and Poland back to Berlin. - that's the plan.
We started in the evening and drove through the night to Bautzen…
