At the moment, you are still hiking with a fantastic view over the lovely hilly landscape, as the trail leads you into a dense beech forest. You follow the path, the leaves rustle softly over you in the wind and the sun paints fine shadows on the forest floor. Soon you will see stones and rocks between the tree trunks and shortly afterwards you will be standing in the middle of a narrow ravine. On both sides of the sandstone rock walls rise and high above you can see the blue sky. On a metal staircase, it finally goes up and on the rock, high above the trees awaits you a breathtaking view of the South Eifel.
We have selected thirteen hiking trails, where you can explore the diverse landscape of the Eifel, the Luxembourg Ardennes and the Müllerthal – also known as Luxembourg's Little Switzerland. The paths lead you over and over again across the border to Luxembourg, which runs in the middle of the forest and sometimes along rivers. The tours are well signposted and thanks to good hiking trails you can enjoy the varied nature to the fullest.
The NaturWanderPark delux extends on both sides of the German-Luxembourg border. An extensive network of altogether 23 hiking trails leads you along torrents, to idyllic reservoirs, through picturesque river valleys, into deep forests and above all into the mystical gorges. In many places you can explore sandstone cliffs, dark caves and narrow gorges that have fascinated people for centuries.
The devil himself left his mark on this route. His devil's work is documented by gorges and crevices in the rock bastions of the Ferschweiler plateau - especially the 28-meter-deep gorge named after him. The primal force of nature is seldom as impressive as at the Irrel waterfalls. Over a length of 140 meters, the clear water of the Prüm struggles between mighty boulders. The hiking bridge over the Prüm opens up a fascinating view of the natural spectacle.

This hiking route in the NaturWanderPark delux is like a journey into the past. Even in the last century, numerous mills rattled on the Our. Weirs were built in many places - dead ends for the stream inhabitants. You will be accompanied by the babbling of the river along the entire route - from the hiking car park in Dasburg to the village of the same name and back on the other side.
Three major landscape elements are the main actors on this hiking route in the NaturWanderpark delux: the Ferschweiler Plateau on the German side, the Luxembourgish Berdorfer Plateau and the deeply cut Sauer Valley as a connecting element. The composition of grandiose panoramas and picturesque rocky backdrops creates the unmistakable charm of the route, whose rocky and root paths encourage exploration.
