Hiking Collection by Nationalpark Bayerischer Wald

Danke!

The varied and physically demanding tour leads through the easternmost part of the national park. In addition to the summit experience on the Siebensteinkopf, we can expect cultural and historical evidence of past life in and from the forest, such as the Reschbachklause and the Open Air Museum Finsterau. The face of the landscape today is shaped by natural dynamics: wind throws, snow breaks and bark beetles, but also the beaver are the designers of the national park forests and waters.

You go through imposing rock formations and wild forest on the stony paths and over the stone steps of the circular path 'Haselhuhn' through the rocky hiking area in the Bavarian Forest National Park. On this short round trip you work up a sweat but are even more amazed - namely at the dynamics of an undisturbed forest in which growth and decay can be experienced. In winter there is no winter service on the 'Haselhuhn' circular trail, so the tour is also ideal for a snowshoe hike. You can only expect slightly longer walking times (approx. 1:45 h).
