This tour is all paved road. The "super scenic gravel stretch" is of course gravel. This stretch can easily be ridden on a normal road bike, even on a misty day like this, where the surface is a bit moist.

If you fancy more gravel, I recommend continuing on the "Fjord-stien" instead of turning back on

To celebrate the day of the Strade Bianche I will on March 6th ride my own local version of the iconic race. Having finished the Strade Bianche myself in 2019 (.. and placing 2nd btw) I know what the soul of this race is. Here in the outskirts of Copenhagen this route takes you through beautiful landscapes

This gravel tour takes you deep into the farmlands west of Copenhagen, with a good mix of singletrack paths and gravel roads.

A few stretches of tarmac in-between offers a bit of rest between the off-road sections.

Make sure to really take in the beautiful area near Veksø. Especially when spring kicks in, this is a treat.

@Lonesome Rouleur; It is a very important issue that you bring up. Close to Copenhagen there are simply too many different types of users sharing the same small pathes of nature - hikers, joggers, horses, kids and cyclists. And all are allowed to be there, but often some feel raised above others when

This gravel tour takes you through a lot of the big forests of Northern Seeland.

I recommend doing this ride when you're up for a solid and adventurous ride.

The route has a bit of everything, but mostly a lot of forestry roads.

Take a break at the shores of lake Gurre and going for an ice-cream at Beier Chokolade. Enjoy!

You start off passing through Hareskoven Forest and then onto a mix of paths, tarmac and proper countryside gravel roads.

This route demands your full attention, and rewards with an adventurous ride. Enjoy!

This little treat of a Gravel ride brings the weekend vibe to any evening of the week. Just long enough to make it count. Just short enough to squeeze in during the work week.

The route includes some of the best gravel segments just north of Copenhagen. The terrain varies from open fields to dense forest
