You go down from about 1200 m along a stream to the sea.
You have to take a ferry back from the sea.

Very nice hike through the Irini valley in Crete.
The hike runs along a stream, which
is filled with water down to the sea in winter.
In summer only after rains or in the upper area.
Good sure-footedness and footwear are required.
There is also a bit of climbing in short sections.
