The almost 50-kilometer round trip begins at the Stroombroek car park. From here you drive on a flat route to Doetinchem. After you have passed the place, you will reach the Kruisbergsche Bosschen forest area. Here you will find Schloss de Kelder on the left of the route. The special thing about the castle is the medieval cellar, which is located under the main floor.
The 50-kilometer tour begins in Muiden, where the important Muiderslot Castle is located. Before you take a look at the castle, however, you first drive along the Muidertrekvaart canal to the west until you meet the Amsterdam-Rijnkanaal. You then cycle south and south on its banks. You come through romantic avenues and can always let your gaze wander over the water.
The almost 40 kilometer long bike tour begins on the outskirts of Vaassen at Kasteel Cannenburch. The first few kilometers introduce you to the landscape of the Veluwe, where nature is characterized by forests and heather. In between, you have the opportunity to jump into a swimming lake. Then you drive slightly uphill through the forest on a natural path.
The 50-kilometer round trip begins at Loevenstein Castle, at the confluence of the Maas and Waal rivers. The best way to get to your starting point from Gorinchem is by ferry. Loevenstein Castle was built in the 14th century and was converted into a prison in the 17th century. One of the most spectacular prison escapes in Dutch history took place here. Today the castle houses a great medieval museum.
