Dype fjorder presser seg mellom øyer og skjær, turkise bølger ruller inn over hvite sandstrender, høye fjell lager skygger over åpne sletter der reinsdyrene beiter og Hardangerjøkulen troner majestetisk på Europas største nasjonalpark - som den har gjort i årtusener - det er ikke noe sted på jorden som Norge. Bli med oss på eventyr til noen av de mest fantastiske stedene i dette unike landet.

Først sendte vi en familie av unge oppdagelsesreisende på et eventyr til Tromøya utenfor Arendal i Agder fylke. Daniel Westli og Guro Friis med døtrene Sarah og Wilma lastet bilen med kajakker og sykler og tok landeveien fatt for å utforske det fantastiske landskapet både til lands og til vanns. Familien storkoste seg med kajakk, terrengsykling og snorkling, og her deler vi ruten deres med deg.



Deretter guider vi deg langs fire opplevelsesturer over hele Norge – hvor hver enkelt av dem egner seg godt for en helgetur. Rutene varierer fra 4,8 til 18,4 kilometer, og de er av ulike vanskelighetsgrader. Hver tur består av en lengre og en kortere rute. Vi har også tatt med campingplasser i nærheten slik at du kan nyte skandinavisk gjestfrihet og levemåte i en tømmerhytte eller i ditt eget telt.

På hver fottur garanterer vi deg spektakulær natur. Det første eventyret tar deg til de dype fjordene rundt Lofoten, der nordlyset spiller magisk på himmelen. På eventyr 2 vandrer du over mosegrodde sletter på Hardangervidda, Europas største nasjonalpark, der store reinsdyrflokker beiter.

Når det kommer til dyreliv er det få steder i Europa du finner like stort mangfold som i Norge. På eventyr 3 i Jotunheimen nasjonalpark kan du speide etter flokker med rein, elg og hjort på slettene under snødekte fjell. Jerv og gaupe finner du også her.

På ditt siste eventyr vandrer du over skyene på fjellryggen over Sørfjorden i Hardanger med vidstrakt utsikt over den vakre Hardangerfjorden med snø på fjelltoppene så langt en kan se. Synet av de kraftige og imponerende brefossene underveis gjør at hverdagen føles langt unna, og gir deg en frihetsfølelse utenom det vanlige.

Alt du trenger å gjøre er å hoppe i bilen, og eventyrene er innenfor rekkevidde i løpet av en helg. Å stå ensom på et fjellplatå eller ved siden av det rolige vannet i en bresjø gir deg en ekte følelse av frihet. Det ville ta mer enn en livsalder å utforske dette enorme og mangfoldige landskapet, men disse eventyrene er et godt sted å starte.

    We sent Daniel Westli and Guro Friis with their daughters Sarah and Wilma on an adventure to Hove Arendal along the coast of Agder, a diverse region where charming coastal towns, high mountains and Norwegian traditions meet.The family started in Revesand, a small place on the south coast of Tromøya, and took the waterway on a 3.8 kilometer long kayak adventure with the children in tow.

    On the second day of the adventure, Daniel and his daughter Sarah got an epic bike ride of 12.5 km on Hisøy, an island in Agder county.A network of gravel paths between the towns of Kolbjørnsvik, Sandviga and Strømmen provides good MTB opportunities (Mountain Bike) for the whole family.The combination of light gravel and traffic-free paths is especially child-friendly. There are also no steep climbs along the way, with 180 meters up and 210 meters down.

    Exploring the coast in search of life underwater is a great way to learn about the secrets of the ocean. During their adventure stay on Tromøya, Guro and Daniel did just that when they snorkeled with their eldest daughter in Hovekilen.Hovekilen is with its unique moraine bottom particularly suitable for snorkeling. Together with their daughter, Guro and Daniel went out from Hovestranda and snorkeled 1.5 kilometers around the bay.
