Just finished our first warm-up lap. Yesterday we arrived in South Tyrol to hike a little.Today from Sella Pass down towards Selva and then parallel through the forest quite steeply towards the Langkofel. Through the stone city in snow ❄️
Actually we wanted to take a break in the Comici hut .... Typically Italian but closed at short notice although the network said that it is open ... well, you can't do anything.
Was a great lap with temperatures around freezing point. We ended up with a beer in our hotel (Digon) in Ortisei.

Due to the weather, there was a tour near the hotel today and not up on the summit. Started at the hotel towards St Ulrich. Through the town center then up towards St Jakob Church. We walked along the path of dialogue, with a sometimes steep incline, to the church. At the top there was a short rest with a view of the Sassolungo. Then we went down the Legendenweg to St Christina and through the forest back to the hotel. For a short lap near the hotel, it was bigger than expected 😂🥾🎒Lg Sandro and Claudi

Super nice round on the Raschötzer Hochalm. We went up with the funicular and then left towards the chapel. From the chapel then up to the Rasciesa summit to the cross. From there leisurely downhill via easy paths to the Flitzerscharte. From the saddle always in the direction of Broglessattel, which we unfortunately did not manage in time.An amazing panorama round with all known peaks in tow. From Schlern on the Alpe di Siusi via Platt and Langkofel to Seceda and Geisler peaks. All permanently to the side. Fantastic 🥰🏔Lg Sandro and Claudia 🎒🥾

Fantastic tour of Monte Petz. We started in the morning at the Spitzbühl chairlift at the P1 car park. From the mountain station it went down towards the Saltner Hut before the actual ascent via the tourist trail began. The paths were mostly easy to walk. Here and there, however, a head for heights and surefootedness are absolutely essential. After almost 3 hours we were standing in front of the first stage destination ... the Schlernhaus.
More like a hotel than a refuge but beautifully situated. Without a break we took the highest point of the Schlern with us. In about 20 minutes we have reached the summit, the Monte Petz, with its cross. An amazing view was waiting for us and the photo was hot.
Then it went back to the parking lot via the ascent path.It was really exhausting but in no way dangerous. The view and the experience made up for it.Unfortunately, Komoot has been spinning for a few days ... according to Apple Watch it was 17 km and over 900 meters in altitude ... but is also secondary 😊Lg Sandro and Claudia 🎒🥾

Today we should go from the Grödner Joch over the Cir Joch and the Val de Chedule to the Crespeina lake and back over the Puez hut. We euphorically fought our way up the strenuous steep paths and walked quite easily to the Val de Chedule. Unfortunately, the descent into the valley was made more difficult for us by icy roads, so we reasonably went back to the starting point via the ascent path. When we arrived at the bottom, after a short rest, we attached a little round to the Passo Gardena. We will definitely tackle Lake Crespeina again at a different time. The landscape was already fantastic today.Surefootedness and stamina are definitely required!Lg Sandro and Claudia 🥾🎒

Last round of our autumn vacation in Val Gardena. Since staying in the hotel was not an option, we started at least a small lap nearby today. We decided on the Vallunga near Selva. Just started walking to the end of the valley and then on the way back past the ruins of Selva. Slightly soaked, we reached the car again after 10 km.Lg Sandro and Claudia 🥾🎒
